John F. Young

John was born in 1948 in Kansas and passed away on January 3, in Parker, Colorado. He was a Vietnam War veteran where he served in the U.S. Army as an emergency helicopter pilot. John was educated in Kansas and Colorado, and graduated from Metropolitan State College in Denver.
He had a successful career in telecommunications and information technology consulting, which included working and making lasting friends in various states across the country.
Survivors include his wife, Paula, his sons, Adam, Eric, and Jason, his parents, John and Betty Young, sister, Jo Rose, and brother, Bob Young. Also survived by nieces and nephews and numerous in-laws.
John was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing with his many close friends and co-workers around the country.
Private services. A Celebration of Life reception will be held on Sunday, January 13. Friends and relatives will be notified of the time and location. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Eric & Jason's College Fund may be sent to the Young's home address and all checks to be made out to Pauline A. Young or US Bank.
