Born the youngest of nine children, life began on May 7, 1961 in Denver, Colorado. Joyful was the day Walter and Annie Will Armstrong, Gamble ( Both Preceded in Death ) gave birth to the last addition of that union God made a family.
Bobby as he was called growing up, was a quick learner and being the youngest, also very spoiled by his Brothers, Higdon, Eugene, John Henry, Merle and Harry Wes Armstrong and also his sisters Willie Anna Armstrong, Robinson, Joyce Ann Armstrong, Coates ( Preceded in Death ) and Jamie G. "Ricki" Armstrong. Bobby attended elementary, secondary and high school in Denver, yet before he graduated his mother became ill before her death and he had to relocate to San Bernardino, California to live with his older brother Merle. It was there that he worked towards his GED with success and joined the Army National Guard and met the Mother of his first child Dominisha Gamble of Riverside, California. Bobby liked moving around and as a result of his travels spent time back in Denver and honed his skills in sales and marketing and yes he had the gift of gab. During this time he parlayed that talent into a management position in sales with a Denver firm called HDE Sales and Marketing. Bobby worked in that position from 1996 until 2001. During the time spent with HDE he met and eventually married his co-worker,Rosa Walker, Gamble on June 1, 1998. They were happy together and created a loving family blessed with four sons Dommanique,Domaine,Domarleous and the youngest, Domartae. The time came once again for Bobby to seek job enhancement, so in 2001, he and his family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to head up a new territory for his company, HDE. While in Phoenix Bobby made many friends and continue to grow as a family, with his wife and children within the Phoenix community. So it was there he made his last stand and battled his illness for over a year and even remained on his job through-out his fight with pride and dignity.
The time had come for Bobby to make his peace, so he made what he thought was his last journey to see his family in Denver. He called upon us to join his spirit in life not in death. So as we say our goodbye's, let us be as joyful as the day " Bobby " was sent to us, as the day he left us on August, 7 2007.
