John Roy Campbell Jr., 66, of Aurora, passed away October 20, 2021.
He was born August 13, 1955 in Denver, Colorado, the son of John Sr. and Frances Campbell. He was a graduate of Hinkley High School and studied at University of Southern Colorado.
John passionately enjoyed sports as a player, coach and fan. John also enjoyed many days in the Colorado mountains as an avid skier, traveling with his spouse Helenann, visiting with family and friends-especially during Christmas, enjoying live music and theater at many of Colorado's wonderful venues, and spending relaxing times with his dogs. John's deep faith and commitment to the Catholic church helped guide him throughout life.
John is survived by his spouse, Helenann Campbell, his mother, Frances Campbell, his daughter Missy Gregory (Jay) and granddaughters Ashley and Nicole, his son, Jeff Campbell (Tischa) and grandson Owen, and siblings, Cindy, Mike, Mark and Peter and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, John Campbell Sr. and sibling Terri.
