John Robert Wachob, Jack, of Aurora, CO, passed away October, 29th, 2020 after a brief illness
Jack was born January, 14th, 1939 to Thomas Daniel Wachob and Alice Leota Wachob, in Canon City, CO. Before settling in Aurora his family lived in Taponas, Colorado. Jack graduated from Aurora High School in 1957.
After graduation, Jack landed his first job as a station agent at Frontier Airlines, kicking off over 30 years in the airline industry. Then he worked at Buckley AFB until retirement.
Jack met Karen Carlene Frick while in high school, and they wed in 1957, going on to have three children, Vicki, Cheryl, and Jeff.
After retiring in 2001, Jack and Karen did some travel to Alaska, South Dakota and Utah. Then due to health issues they became homebodies. In his younger days he was an avid bowler.
Jack is survived by his wife of 63 years Karen Wachob; 3 children Vicki Christensen, Cheryl Curtin (Ed), Jeffery Wachob (Susan); 4 grandchildren Sloane Wachob, Joel Wachob, Chloe Curtin, Elyse Curtin. He is also survived by sister Judy Oskolkoff of Alaska and several nieces and nephews.
