John H. Wood, 85, of Aurora, passed away July 13, 2020.
He was born November 25, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Lambert and Arlene (Hart) Wood. He was a graduate of Muskegon Heights High School in Michigan. He received his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ferris State College in Michigan. On June 5, 1954, he married Leah Rae Decent.
John is survived by four children, Jay (Michelle) Wood, Jeffery Wood, Ellen Candelaria and Melanie (Cary Calone) Wood; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Susan (Dennis) Brooks. He is preceded in death by wife, Leah Rae Wood; father, Lambert C. Wood; mother, Arlene Lelia Wood; a sister, Christine and a brother, Gaylord "Butch" Wood.
