Jon Kent MacNeill, born Jan 15, 1943 in Denver, Colorado and was always proud to call himself a Denver native. Died Aug 14, 2010. Survived by spouse Joanne (Jody).
Son: David and his family Jamie, Jessica (11) Jordyn (8) Cole (6). Jon deeply loved his son and his family and spent as much time with them as he could.

Jone moved away from home into his own tiny apartment during his senior year in high school, supporting himself by working at Safeway. After he graduated he joined the Navy immediately. Jon served in the US Navy during the Vietnam war as a Cryptographer and was assigned to the U.S.S. Chicago.
He worked in the police department and the police world shortly after he and Jody married. For many years he was on the Longmont, CO police department starting out as a parking enforcer- became a patrol officer and worked up to being the city crime prevention officer. His health become poor enough that he had to leave police work and went to the world of retail, working at Caboose Hobbies.
He started there as a warehouseman and ended up a General Manager. Together he and the owners built the business up to quite a fun hobby store and they developed a reputation in the world of trains as being a destination if you are interested in trains. Jon had many friends, he began his hobby activity when he was 17.
He will be missed by many.
