Jonnie Della Malbacias was born on October 15,1951 in Helena, Montana to the beloved late John D. Neville and Isabel Neville Sanchez. She was named after her father as they were expecting to have a boy but ended up welcoming another girl into their family. In total Jonnie had 7 beautiful sisters including: her beloved late sisters, Elizabeth Neville (Gene) and Roberta Neville, and her surviving sisters, Linda Neville, Patricia Trujillo (Jim), Janet Rodriguez (Jerry), Donna Neville, and Debbie Lucero (Ernie).

She is also survived by her two daughters, Patricia Malbacias and Elena Salazar (Steven). Over the years she played a pivotal role in raising her six grandchildren, Allyssa Salazar (Adrian), Jazley Gonzalez (Lorenzo), Dominic Malbacias (Maria), Katelyn Vigil and over the last few years was granted custody of Lillie-Ana and James. Finally, Jonnie leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Jonnie started her career at Mountain Bell as a switchboard operator and retired from Avaya in 2003 after 27 years in the telecommunications field. She developed numerous lifelong friendships especially with the late Sly Dog Reza and the late Jennie Sargis. Among other friends, she is survived by Arlene Hattori, Heide Strande, and Cathy Moore.

Jonnie enjoyed her Broncos, visiting Central City, and scratching her lottery tickets. Her birthdays were celebrated at Las Delicias or Texas Roadhouse every year along with her favorite chocolate cake or boston crème pie. You would always find her with a chocolate bar or cinnamon bears in hand.

Most of all, Jonnie cherished her family. She loved raising and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. She is loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
