Jose A. Ortiz

44, of Aurora, CO, was born in Brooklyn, NY on November, 8 1962 and passed away October 31, 2007. Always with a love for learning and adventure, he graduated from high school in Puerto Rico, and enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces. While stationed in Germany, he met his future wife, Lydia. They returned to the United States in 1993 after being honorably discharged from the Army, and settled in Aurora, CO. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Lydia Ortiz; his parents, Jose and Juanita Ortiz; his brother, Carlos Ortiz; his sister, Mary Ann Marrero, and nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles too many to mention. He was truly loved by all and will forever be in all our hearts. The Ortiz family would like to deeply thank all of Joe & Lydia's friends for their help and support in this very difficult time. Their love and concern for Joe will never be forgotten, and we are grateful for their genuine friendship. They are now, and will always be considered a part of our family.
