Joe Ortega of Aurora, Colorado passed away on May 12, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Mary Ortega and children Anthony and Michael Ortega, Elizabeth (Paul) Fossum, Carol Ortega, and Jessica (Jamey) McGaugh. He leaves behind four grandchildren: Alexandra, Michael, Samara and Jackson; as well as four great grandchildren: Vivienne, Benjamin, Charlotte, and Asazel.
He was a veteran of the US Airforce, an accomplished artist, and a proud husband, father, and grandfather. He loved classic cars and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
