Joseph Savino Marques
May 8, 1927 — May 21, 2020
Joseph Savino Marques Jr. passed away May 21, 2020 of kidney failure after battling an elbow infection for several weeks. He was born in Capulin, Colorado to Joseph Savino and Maria Sofia Marques. Joe was their last living child of 13.
He is survived by his son Gary Marques (Janet), three grandchildren Duane Marques (Christy), Jill Marques, Travis Marques (Julie), two great grandchildren Brady Marques, Marina Seip and several nieces and nephews.
He is now in the arms of his beloved wife of 71 years Chris who passed away in 2017.
With Joe's love of fishing the family is requesting that donations be made to Colorado Parks and Wildlife in lieu of flowers.
As this is a strange time because of Covid 19, services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery when everyone can gather to celebrate Joe's life.
