Joseph Aloysius Webb 79, passed from this life surrounded by close family in his Littleton home on March 19, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie, his sister Mary Joyce Johnson of Media Pennsylvania, and his son Joseph. He is also survived by his other son Michael and daughter in law Kimberly (Falck) as well as their daughter Elise.
After graduating high school he served in the USMC for three years. Following his service he worked for the US Postal Service while putting himself through night school at Widener University where he received a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
Joe had an adventurous spirit and an incurable case of wanderlust. He plied his trade for many years all over the nation, designing all manner of machines and systems from nuclear waste disposal to commercial airline design to a machine that manufactured diapers. He was a man of great passions and polarities, likes and dislikes, and was always abundantly clear in expressing his views. Most of all, he was a man of great and abiding faith, and reared his family to be strong, faithful Catholics. Having received the Last Rites, he passed into the arms of his Father, to be sorely missed by those that loved him dearly.
A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Littleton Colorado on Tuesday, March 27 at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Capital Campaign of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church, 5612 S Hickory Circle, Littleton, Colorado 80120.
