Joseph Wendelin

Joseph (Joe) Ralph Wendelin, 73 of Denver, passed away Sunday July 23, 2023. He was born to Frank & Virginia Wendelin January 31, 1950, in Denver, Colorado.

Joe was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Joe graduated from West High School located in Denver Colorado in 1968. He went on to work for Napa Auto Parts for 43 years. He enjoyed working with all his co-workers and lived his life every day loving his animals, and his family. He loved fishing, the mountains, restoring cars and watching sports, especially basketball.

Joe dearly loved to watch old westerns so much that there was not one western show he hadn't seen. Joe was handsome, funny, quiet, and loyal to all he loved. We will always remember his never-ending sarcasm, the love for his family and his love of all animals. When you think of Joe, please celebrate the good times and memories that you shared with him.

Joe is preceded in death by his sister Donna Wendelin, father Frank Wendelin, mother Virginia Wendelin and daughter Lindsey Pepion. He is survived by his brother Frank Wendelin Jr. (Pam), his sister Sue Medina (Gil), daughter Dina Buijten (Jon) & daughter Kimberly Hinojosa (Felix). He is also survived by his three beloved grandchildren, Dallas Hinojosa, Tommy Hinojosa and Lacee Buijten, as well as his beloved nieces Cindi Lindsey (Bob), Kim Medina (David), Michelle Medina and many great nieces & nephews. Hey Joe! Our hearts broke the day you left us, you will forever be in our hearts and missed endlessly!
