In Loving Memory of Josephine Hernandez
Josephine passed away August 14, 2019 at her home in Denver, surrounded by family. She will be laid to rest in Fort Logan Cemetery next to her husband, Samuel Hernandez.
Josephine was born April 24, 1936 in Brighton, Colorado.
Josephine survived by her 4 children, Sam, Debbie, Victoria and Susanna, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was known as Nana to her family and she was a pillar for many people. Josephine was fighter and survived cancer 6 times and fought hard through her 7th time having it, making her a hero to her family.
Josephine loved so many and expressed that love through her amazing homemade cooking and handmade blankets, which she crocheted. She loved to have people over and could talk and laugh with you for hours. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
