Joy Laureath Jackson, 78, of Golden, Colorado passed away Friday, May 15, 2020. She was born December 19, 1941 to Harlan & Irene Brinkhoff in Burlington, Colorado.
No services will be held at this time.
Joy grew up in Eastern Colorado and graduated from Otis High School in 1960.
Joy worked for Earle Johnson Elementary School as a school secretary until her retirement.
She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to a Colorado Rockies games with her father, and her flower garden.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents Harlan & Irene Brinkhoff and son Dan Jackson.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Donald R Jackson, brother Gary (Carole) Brinkhoff of Hygiene, CO; daughter Laurel (Justin) Downer of Berthoud, CO; daughter in law Kim Jackson of Arvada, CO; and, stepdaughter Vicki Lilly of Thornton, CO. She also leaves behind a niece, nephew, grand children &, great grandchildren.
Joy was a beautiful soul and will be truly missed by all.
