Joy L. Landers lived life from September 19, 1963 to October 15th, 2019. The footsteps of her journey took her from Southern Fulton High School, Class of 1981, to a shampoo commercial, a few Tom Hanks movies, up close and personal with a rocker or two, and many other exciting detours as she took the scenic route in life. She lives on in her parents Harry and Sara Jean Landers who she appreciated for giving her a love of horses and the Colorado leg of her journey, a sister Julie who was fortunate to share some of the motorcycle leg of her journey, a brother Ronnie who let her win at pool, a sister Roxann who she thanked for adding millions to her journey, a boyfriend Brian who will continue to take the scenic route because of Joy, and many friends. Joy loved being an aunt to her many nieces and nephews and takes credit for all of their bad habits.
Services for Pennsylvania and Maryland friends will be held later in November.
