Juanita Priscilla Lucero, 86, of Denver passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021.
She was born to the late Elias Lucero and Casilda Sanchez Lucero on November 11, 1934 in San Luis, Colorado.
Juanita worked for years as a manicurist in various beauty salons in Denver, becoming friends with many of her clients and the stylists she worked with.
She was also an avid reader, enjoying the novels of Jane Austen and biographies about the British royal family.
Juanita is survived by two children, Paula Crespin (VIncent Sr.) and Albert Lopez (Cindy). Her four grandchildren are Veronica Crespin Palmer, Vincent Crespin, Cherie Lopez and Paula Lopez. Juanita's four great grandchildren are Trey Palmer, Avianna Palmer, Leana (Albertina) Robinson and Amelia Crespin. Juanita is also survived by siblings Carmen Martinez, Vernon Lucero, Rose Morillo, Louise Zapata, Richard Lucero, Joe (Jeff) Lucero and Alvin Lucero. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents and brother Frank Lucero.
In accordance with Juanita's wishes, services will be limited to only her immediate family.
