Judith Abeyta

July 17, 1938 — March 23, 2022

IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith Agnes Abeyta
1938-2022

Judith "Judy" Abeyta passed away peacefully on March 23, 2022,
after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 83. Judy was
born in Chicago Illinois to Antonio and Agnes(Bruemmer) Passarelli.

Judy graduated from High School and started working at Lake River
Terminals in the offices. She married Herman Kranzusch and had two
beautiful children, Kathy and Bob. She continued working until she
picked up stakes and came to Colorado. She married Jess Abeyta
and they combined their families. She worked at different companies
until she landed a career with Denver County Courts, where she eventually
retired from.

Judy enjoyed being with her family and loved when they were all together.
She also enjoyed the many friends her and Jess made on their journey together
in life. The backyard pool was always a hit in the summer and there were many
camping, boating, and road trips along with family vacations she enjoyed with
family and friends.

After retirement Judy and Jess moved to Florida for awhile, but came back to
Colorado after a few years to be closer to family. They lived in Trinidad, Pueblo,
and Denver, finally settling the last few years to live with their daughter Denise.
There they enjoyed the constant companionship, love, and support they needed.
Their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren would often visit and surround
them with love.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Agnes Passarelli, her beloved
husband Orlando "Jess" Abeyta and her brothers Jim and Bill Passarelli. She leaves
behind a brother Mike (Kay) Passarelli, her children Kathy (Mike) Kelly, Bob (Pam) Kranzusch,
Denise (Mike) Benes and Steve (Cathleen) Abeyta. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren
Elijah (Natalie) Benes, Shauna Minnick, Greg (Kacie) Abeyta, Shelby Abeyta, Lovie (Stefan) Bowers,
Devin (Sami) Swango, Taylor Abeyta, Eion Kelly, Kira Kranzusch, and Mikayla Kranzusch. Also 13 great
grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson on the way!

Judy will be remembered for her selfless giving, her determination, and her sense of humor. She mostly
went by "grandma" the last several decades. She was the most faithful loving wife to her husband Jess,
the greatest mother, stepmother, and grandma to all her children, who absolutely adored her! She will be
deeply missed and never forgotten. She put her faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ! She was excited to
exit this world and spend eternity with her Lord and be reunited with her beloved husband and many family and
friends that have gone before her!
