Julia Cecilia Valdez 90, of Morrison Colorado passed away June 6, 2022.
She was born May 9, 1932 born in Trinchera Colorado, Daughter of Eloy Sanchez and Edubijen Rael.
On September 2, 1950 she married the love of her life John B Valdez. She was predeceased by her Husband John and children Vincent and Leroy and is survived by Lorraine, Mary, Ronnie, Tina, Gena, Johnny, Diana, Michael, Darlene, and Eddie. Julia was part of a large family and had over 95 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Julia was an exceptional Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and was the most giving and loving person you could of had the pleasure to meet. She devoted her life to raising and taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She always provided love and support for her family and cherished every moment with them. Anyone who met Julia were drawn to her loving, caring, and fun personality that touched the lives of so many people.
Julia was the most loving person and the foundation to our family with a wonderful combination of warmth and kindness, laughter and love. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping for those she cared about, watching soap operas "telenovelas" and making her delicious home cooked meals. Her home cooked enchiladas, Spanish rice, potatoes salad, cinnamon cookies, white gravy, cheese cake, and spaghetti were some of our family favorites. She enjoyed listening, singing, and humming to hymns throughout her home. She always made you feel you were at home and had a welcoming and good hearted soul to anyone she met. During the last days of her life she said she was going to be with her God and he will take care of her. She represented the good that we all need in our everyday lives and will be dearly missed.
In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Valdez family. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Living Word Tabernacle Church.
Family, Friends, and others whose lives Julia touched are invited to the Living Word Tabernacle Church, 5397 S Fox St. Littleton, Colorado 80120, for service at 11:00AM followed by a reception on Friday June 17, 2022, to reminisce and celebrate her for being with our Lord and Savior.
