Julian Samuel Chacon, 82, of Lakewood, passed away on July 16, 2022.
He was born to the late Francisco and Charlotte Chacon, July 14, 1940. After serving in Army, he married
Laverne Martinez in July 1966 and they made Denver, Colorado their home.
Julian will be remembered for his love of the Hawaiian Islands, his fantastic sense of humor, his love of food and most importantly how much he loved and cared about his family.
Julian is survived by his wife Laverne "Sweetie" Chacon; his two children, Juliana Abeyta and Julian Miles Chacon; his two grandchildren, Kyndra Gallegos and Anthony Gallegos; his two great grandchildren, Jaxson Gallegos and Mason Gallegos and their mother, Amanda Kuhl; sister, Mary Andrade and brothers, Steve (Elaine) Chacon and Leroy Chacon; sister-in-law, Deanna Chacon; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Charlotte Chacon; brothers, Art Chacon and Rudy Chacon; sister, Mary Jane Espinoza; sister-in-law, Vangie Chacon; brother-in-law, John Andrade. Daughter in law Tara Hoover.
