June A. Rohan, 85, died peacefully Saturday morning, June 4, 2005, at the Johnson Center Nursing Home in Cetennial, CO. Born January 30,1920 in Highwood, IL, she was the daughter of Maude (Burton) Young and Nicholas Young. She was a graduate of HIghland Park High School in Highland Park, IL, and Walker Buisness College in Chicago,Il. In 1943 she met and married Sgt. Frank M. Rohan at Ffitsimmons Army Hospital where she worked as secretary for a General where Mr. Rohan was stationed. Following World War II, they settled in Aurora,Co, where they raised their three children. Mrs. Rohan was an active member of St. Therese Parish in Auroraand steadfast supperorter and consultant in her husband's business. She was also a mulit-talented homemaker with interests in cooking , ceramics, crocheting, reupholstering, and fine rosary making. Above all she was an exceptional seamstress and tailor. Her husband Frankand her brother John predeceased her. She is survived by her daughters; Anne Palmerof Centennial, CO and Patte Smith of Castle rock, CO; her son Michael Rohan of Newfane, VT, five grandchildren, and one great grandson. A rosary will be held Tuesday, June 7 at 7:00 P.M. qat Newcomer Funeral Home, 190 N. Potomac Aurora, CO. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Therese Church, 13th and Kenton, Aurora, CO on Wednesday, June 8, 2005, 10:00 A.M. Inertment will be at Mount OlivetCemetery.
