Justine Elaine Petersen

It is with great sadness that the family of Justine Elaine Petersen announces her passing on the 16th, of September 2018. She was 78 years old.
Justine was born on the 24th of March, 1940 in McCook, Nebraska but moved to Denver shortly after. Justine is now reunited with her husband Richard "Dick" Petersen; parents, Gustav and Sarah Margrete Potthoff and brother Ronald.
Justine loved jewelry and was an avid crafter. She enjoyed decorating wedding cakes and creating floral arrangements. Justine absolutely loved baseball, watching the Rockies and Broncos, and would always see if there was a NASCAR race on TV. She loved to spoil her pets and every living creature she met.
Justine is survived by her daughter, Valerie Petersen; her grandson, Andrew Stephenson; her siblings Estel Burr, Larry Potthoff, Oramae Rich, Loren Potthoff and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be located at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S Sheridan Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80226 starting at 10:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1777 S Harrison St, Denver, CO 80210.
