Karen C. Mittelstadt, 68, of Aurora, passed away July 31, 2019.
She was born November 2, 1950 in Dickinson, North Dakota, the daughter of Jacob and Margaret (Reich) Roller. She was a graduate of Trinity High School, Class of 1968. On September 20, 1969 Karen married Dale Mittelstadt in Dickinson, North Dakota.
Karen worked in medical administration for over 20 years across the front range. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, gambling, traveling, camping and other outdoor activities. Karen loved her grandchildren and animals in their natural habitat.
Karen is survived by her husband, Dale Mittelstadt of 49 years; three sons, Bradley Mittelstadt, Scott (Heather) Mittelstadt, and Russ (Kara) Mittelstadt; daughter, Lisa (Josh) Silvia; five grandchildren, Ashley Mitchell, Dylan Scarlett, Brennan Mittelstadt, Cole Silvia, and Chloe Silvia; three sisters, Adeline (Steve) Gryskiewicz, Joyce (Rick) Beaudoin, and Loretta Conlon; two brothers, Fran (Patty) Roller and Alvin Roller; in-laws, Connie (Frank) Barnick, Marilyn Smith, Kathy (Joe) Schumacher, and Aaron (Deb) Mittelstadt; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Margaret Roller; brother, Gerald Roller; sister, Janice Steffan; and in-laws, Arvid and Cindy Mittelstadt.
