A beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, and godmother, Karen Marie Quintana was born on July 14, 1955, in Denver, Colorado, and departed this earth on March 8, 2022. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by family and took her final breath with her sons at her side.

After years of being a stay-at-home mom, she went on to work for the City of Denver and retired from the Denver Department of Social Services in 2010. She loved to craft and create. She had a beautiful singing voice and spent time singing with her church's worship team. Even toward the end of her life, she was still busy crocheting and sewing as her health would permit.
She believed in God and family above all else. She also loved the Denver Broncos. Karen will be missed by her extensive family including cousins, aunts and uncles, both living and deceased, and numerous godchildren.
