Karen H. Vigil, 74, of Denver, passed away January 16, 2018.
She was born October 30, 1943 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Edward and Eloise (Trujillo) Quintana.
On March 17, 1963, she married Ernest Vigil.
Karen loved to shop until she dropped. She enjoyed watching classic movies. Karen had a sharp eye for design and watched many home interior shows. She put her personal touch on everything. People gravitated toward Karen's personality, indomitable spirit, and lust for life. She never knew a stranger. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was the apple of Ernest's eye and the sunshine in her family's life. She was dearly loved and will be forever missed.
Karen is survived by Six Children, Regina Ulibarri, Dennis Ortega, Ernest Vigil, Jr., Robin Vigil, Stacey Vigil, Lisa Vigil; Seventeen Grandchildren, Erin Berigan, Brian Berigan, Jr., Sean Berigan, Dennis Ortega, Jr., Joey Ortega, Dustin Ortega, Kristin Ortega, Kira Ortega, Ernest Vigil, III, Nicholas Vigil, Ean Vigil, Kara Delgado, Karley Vigil, Brooklyn O'Hare, Ronnie Vigil, Kayla Nuanez and Giovanni Garcia; Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Two Sisters, Lou Romero and Ersie Bustos; Brother, Anthony Quintana and Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by Husband, Ernest Vigil; Father, Edward Manuel Quintana; Mother, Eloise Quintana and Four Brothers, Bob Quintana, William Quintana, Richard Quintana, and James Quintana.
