Kathleen Marie Johnston

Kathleen Marie (Kathy) Johnston, 60, of Lamar Nebraska, youngest daughter of Helen and Jim Horn of Denver Co.

She was born May 15, 1957 and passed away January 2, 2018.

Kathy graduated Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver, Colorado.

Kathy was a rural route mail carrier for the US Postal Service in Champion, Nebraska.

On October 25, 1975, she married Kenneth Michael (Mike) Johnston. They had two children Kandice (Kandi) Johnston and Kenneth Michael (JR) Johnston Jr. They currently reside in Lamar, Nebraska.

Kathy loved her dogs, creating crafts, wheeling and dealing at garage sales, camping, hosting their annual 4th of July BBQ for the family, and was especially crazy in love with her grandson, Ethan.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Michael; son, "JR"; and one grandson, Ethan; her sister, Sue Vitgenos and many close extended family members, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends in Colorado, Nebraska, and Texas.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Helen and Jim Horn, brother, Dennis Horn, and her loving daughter and best friend Kandice (Kandi) Johnston.
