Kayla Ann Petersen

Kayla Ann Petersen,31 of Aurora CO Passed away Saturday February 18,2023 at University Of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

She was born to Hollyann and Jeffrey Petersen on October 20, 1991 In Fort Collins,Co. She was Married to David Collazo and they lived together in Aurora CO for the last nine years.

Kayla was a Homemaker and stay at home mom, and enjoyed every minute of it. She adored her kids, they were her greatest gift in life. She cherished every precious second she spent with her children.

She loved to travel with her husband and children and enjoyed exploring places and making memories. She was a phenomenal sister. She had a deep love for her family. Her passion was caring for others. Those that were lucky enough to have known her, know what an incredible soul she had.


She is survived by her beloved husband David Collazo , Her three children Aubrey, Emmett and Emma Collazo. Her parents Hollyann and Jeffrey Petersen and stepfather John Bevis. Her sisters Hailey and Ericka Dreger and Whitney Petersen
and her four nieces and three nephews.
