Kelly Beighey was a wife, a mother a grandmother, a daughter and a friend. Kelly always greeted the world with a smile and positive attitude that made life an adventure. She was 51 years old when she passed after battling various forms of cancer for four years. Kelly was a hard and diligent worker who excelled at her job as a claims processor at State Farm, but her true life's work were those people who she loved. Kelly truly cared for people and was always there to listen to anyone who needed a friendly ear or shoulder to cry on. I never knew one person who had anything negative to say about Kelly. She was so beautiful both inside and out, her caring heart reached out to those who needed her.
Her smile warmed the heart and her laugh was like music on the wind. She loved being silly and she loved to giggle and watch funny movies late at night. Kelly loved her grandchildren and she spoiled them, not with money but with her time. Gramma Kelly always had time when Isaiah needed to cuddle or when Isabella wanted to color with her. She always smiled when Sophia would come up to her, smiling to say... "You're my gramma!"
Kelly had a way of making you feel confident when you were afraid and she could make you calm when your mind was in chaos. Kelly taught people about the kind of human being they wanted to be. She was an inspiration with her courage and strength, which was always tempered by kindness and a soft demeanor that made you feel loved. Even at the end, she was more afraid to leave her family behind, than she was of death itself. I remember the sadness in her eyes when she said "I don't want to leave you."
Yet, leave us she did, but only physically. Kelly will always be there as music on the air or when the sun feels warm and gentle on our faces. Kelly is forever in our hearts.
