Ken Hamilton, 64, of Bailey, passed away Sunday, January 17. He was born to James and Esther Hamilton in Wheatridge, CO. Ken graduated from Arvada West High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Dawn, in 1976.
Ken was a missionary at IdRaHaJe in Bailey for the last twenty years of his career. There he served in many different capacities and influenced many with the love of Christ. Ken loved people and always made time to connect, encourage, and pray for those who he had the opportunity to encounter.
He was a man who loved his family dearly and was wholeheartedly devoted to them. His family, many friends, and those who have been encouraged by his life of love and service will miss him greatly.
Ken is survived by his wife Dawn, and two children: Josh (Jen) Hamilton of Oklahoma City and Leah (Matt) Montgomery of Thornton. He is also survived by five grandchildren: James, Addison, Isaac, Jackson, and Henry, his mother Esther Hamilton, and two brothers Ed (Cammie) Hamilton and Jim (Deb) Hamilton, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded by his father James Hamilton and granddaughter Carly Montgomery.
Services will be held at Fairmount Bible Church in Golden at 10:00am on February 4th followed by burial at Golden Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Camp IdRaHaJe.
