Kim Chronister

Kimberly Dawn Chronister, 46, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

Kim was born to David & Janice Chronister, July 11, 1973, at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. Kim graduated from Shawnee High School and received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Parks College in Aurora. Kim and Dorita were partners for 21 years and were able to legally marry on June 15, 2016, and they lived together in Aurora, CO until her passing.

Kim worked as a Manager for Little Ceasar's ,Texaco, A Day Spa and A Massage, Inc, before deciding to become a stay at mom to their two children while working on her degree..

Kim enjoyed playing games on her phone and Ipad. She also enjoyed reading and enjoyed watching true crime shows on television. She was an avid Denver Broncos football fan. She loved children and they were drawn instantly to her. She provided amazing and loving daycare for close family members and close family friends.

Kimberly is survived by her wife, Dorita Chronister (Aurora), her son Aaron Barclay (Lakewood); her daughter Caitlin Barclay (Aurora); her grandson Johnathan Tolliver, 3, (Texas); her father David Chronister (Oklahoma); her mother Janice Williams (Aurora); her sisters Kathy Chronister (Texas) and Valerie Chronister; her stepbrothers Ian Holman and Sean Holman; her grandmother Nellie Williams (Texas); her aunt Carol Hill (Texas); her uncle David Williams (Texas). She is also survived by several cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home at 4 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2020. There will be a reception held following the service at Newcomer Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Denver Hospice or Breast Cancer Research Foundation , please absolutely no roses or lavender at services.
