Kristen was born in Weisbaden, Germany, September 28, 1960 to Bradford and Marcia Gauss. She died unexpectedly of a heart attack in Denver, Colorado, March, 27, 2009.
She lived in McCall, Idaho, from the age of two, until her graduation from high school in 1978. She loved that town, swimming and water skiing on the lake in the summer to skiing the nearby slopes in the winter. Kristen attended the University of Idaho where she belonged to the Delta Gamma Sorority.
Kris became a CNA and made some dear friends among those she helped. However, sometime later she retrained at ITT and the last five years of her short life she was an emergency dispatch operator for ADT in Denver.
Kristen is survived by her parents and two brothers, Kreg (Shannon) Gauss of Los Alamos, New Mexico and Bradford, Chip, Gauss of Denver. There are six nieces and nephews whom she adored, Adam (Casey) Sarah, Tyson, Drew, Taylor, and Abigail.
If you wish to make any donations, please do it in her name to any charity of your choice. Her ashes will be scattered in the mountains she loved around McCall, later this summer.
