Labriano "Joe" Jose Encinias of Thornton, Colorado passed peacefully at the age of 88. Born on July 4, 1932 in Gonzales Ranch, New Mexico to Jose and Maria Lupe Encinias.
At the age of 20, he married Jennie Vargas and began his family. They were married 68 years and gave rise to 7 children, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
He retired as a baker of 35 years.
He will fondly be remembered for his wonderful smile, laugh, jokes, generosity, loyalty, and outstanding work ethic that gained him the respect of all who knew him.
He loved watching football, his favorite team was the Minnesota Vikings, and he loved being outside.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Minnie, Lucy, Clara, and Kay.
Labriano is survived by his wife, Jennie; children, Dolores, Terrie, Diane, Rickey (Rhonda), Twyla, Debbie (Chris), Phillip (Naomi); 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Alice, Pablo, Martin, John, Mary, Emma, Joyce, Manuel and Lydia.
