Laila Marilyn King

An angel that was heaven sent from the beginning; Laila Marilyn King (3) was born a 27-week premature baby girl on January 30th, 2019. Laila is loved beyond measure and adored by her parents, Louis and Brandi King, her big brother and protector S.J. And alongside her other doting siblings: Navaeh, Liam, Lasiah, and Lazarus.

A warrior from the start, Laila lived her first year in the hospital fighting for her life. Her lungs were so weak and premature, she underwent a major surgery to have a tracheotomy and feeding tube put in to allow her to come home and be with loved ones. She endured many sticks, pokes, doctor visits, antibiotics, pain medication, withdrawals/sicknesses, febrile seizures, and more. But Laila NEVER failed to let her bright and beautiful spirit shine through. Laila loved everyone and left a HUGE impact on many people's lives. The last couple of years, her mother, Brandi, worked endlessly to get Laila off the ventilator and oxygen. It was an around the clock job and nobody did it better than her dedicated mother. Brandi, Louis and S.J made sure to give her the best life any little girl could ever imagine, and she got just that.

Laila enjoyed shopping, playing with her brothers, and CHURCH. And more importantly, PRAISING JESUS.

Even though Laila was taken way sooner than we all would hoped, she LIVED LIFE HERE AND IS STILL LIVING LIFE NOW IN HEAVEN WITH JESUS.

Maternal - Grandparents: Brian Case and Sarah Barth, Great Grandmother: Marilyn Case, Uncles: Jesse Case, Kolton Barth, and Ryan Barth, Auntie: Cierra-Rose Barth

Paternal - Grandmother: Grace Montoya, Great Grandmother: Mary Helen Martinez, Aunties: Mandi King and Tanya (Anthony) Marquez, Cousins: Karma, Malakai, and Baby Anthony.
