Lanny Michael Miller passed away on September 1, 2020 at the age of 67. Lanny was born at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama, in 1953. As a youth Lanny traveled with his military family and lived in Alabama, Illinois, Colorado, Wyoming, Florida and Germany. He was always interested in collecting baseball cards and building model airplanes and cars, in addition to being an avid sports fan, following all the local Denver and Colorado teams. Sundays during football season would usually find Lanny at his favorite sports bar, watching and cheering on the Broncos. Other seasons would see him cheering on the Nuggets and Avalanche as well.
In 1966, Lanny moved with his family to Aurora, Colorado where his father retired from the Air Force in 1969. He graduated in 1971 from Aurora Hinkley High school. After graduation, Lanny worked a variety of jobs, but spent a great deal of his life in customer service. He was truly a people person.
Lanny was very social and had a large number of friends from his time playing in pool leagues and spending time at his favorite watering holes.
Lanny is survived by his mother, Glenda Miller, his siblings Darryl Miller, B. Alan Miller and Elisabeth Morrissey, and his girlfriend, Wanda O'Larry.
