Larry J. Wright
Larry J. Wright, of Lakewood, passed away April 27, 2007 in Denver.
He was born March 31, 1933 in Franklin, Idaho to Dicey Jones and Robert H. Wright. Graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Utah State. Married MaryJane Handy Wright in the Logan Temple on November 25, 1953.
Father of four children: Robert Samuel Wright (who preceded him in death); Annette Wright, Polly Handy-Wright Hartvigson and Krista Lee Wright Bement; grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of 1.
Larry served his country in the Navy.
He loved telling jokes.
He loved acting in the Theatre.
He loved to cook and appreciated good food.
He loved cars, golf and the Broncos.
He loved to study the gospel, and was a wonderful home teacher.
All of the kids in the Ward know Grandpa Larry "the candy man."
He loved serving in the Temple.
Most of all he loved his sweet wife, MaryJane, who preceded him in death.
Viewing, Sunday 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel.
Funeral Services, Monday 12:00PM in the Chapel at the Green Mountain LDS Ward, 13206 West Green Mountain Drive, Lakewood, with family receiving friends in the Relief Society Room from 10:45AM until 11:45AM. Services will conclude at the Chapel.
Graveside services and interment will take place at Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Idaho, on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 12:00PM
