Larry Talmadge

Lawrence Alfred Talmadge was called home on June 18, 2023 at the age of 67 in Thornton, Colorado.

Larry was born on July 18, 1955 in Walsenburg, Colorado.

Larry grew up in Denver, Colorado and was a father figure to his younger siblings whom he shared close relationships with throughout the years. Larry married his high school sweetheart and they quickly started a family. This was the beginning of many toys to be built and lessons to be taught.

He cultivated many relationships throughout his life's journey. You could always count on Larry to help lend a hand and be there if needed.

Over the years he had many adventures shared with those of you reading this.

Here is a list of things that will trigger some memories of The Good, Bad and the Ugly (he was a fan of Clint Eastwood);

Horseback riding, cut-off jean shorts, Elvis Presley, water fights, playing cards with friends and family, cattle branding, building an addition to a home, love circles, moon-pies, entrepreneurships, bail bonding, Ford Bronco four-wheeling, multi level marketing (it was the 80's), pumpkin bread, mustache (better than Burt Reynolds), brick car phone, camping, fishing, cooking, grilling, river swimming, Denver Bronco parties with pizza-chicken-popcorn, beer drinking goats, pool hopping at Surfside, meat and potatoes guy to the core, pot-pot-pot, paying kids to try hot homegrown chiles, holidays, suit and ties, farm living, Harley riding, all you can eat, banana anything, skunk streak, king of bullshitting...and so many more.

Whether Larry crossed paths with you for a reason, season or a lifetime; his relationships had purpose and left lasting memories. May he rest in peace.

Survived by his ex-wives Liz Talmadge (Herman) and Katrina Roberts. Children; Larry Talmadge, Michael Talmadge, Tina Talmadge, Brittany White (Talmadge) and Jonathan Talmadge. Siblings; Rose Medina, John Medina (Mandi), Tessa Martinez (Martin), Terry Tafoya (Mike), Robert Talmadge, Leona Wilson (Tony) and Lynn Kelley (John). BIL; Daniel Scott. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents; Father David Talmadge, Mother Cecelia Talmadge (Sandoval) and Birth mother Evelyn Medina (Garcia). Siblings; Debbie Talmadge, James Talmadge and Donna Scott (Talmadge).
