65, of Strasburg, CO died after a long and courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. Soul mate to wife Gloria of 46 years; Son of Elnora; beloved father of Daniel Hoyer, Sandra Lee and Laura Hoyer; grandfather of Jennifer, Zach, Sarah, Kasandra, Jacob, Danny, Jordon, Nathan and Abby; great-grandfather of Ashley, Kalie and Chance; brother of Bill Hoyer, Diane (Ron) Salter and Paul (Anita) Hoyer; son-in-law of Al (Joan) Portschy; brother-in-law of Dennis (Leona) Bennett and Deborah Maunakea along with numerous nieces and nephews. Foster parent to Joe Eagle Feather, Tyler McCrew and numerous other boys he loved. Per request no services will be held. Contributions may be made to the Rocky Mtn. Cancer Center, Aurora, CO.
