Laura Martinez,64, received her angel wings on June 15, 2019 in her home, with her loving husband by her side.
Laura was born on June 20, 1954, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to her father Joe Walter Sanchez and mother Tillie Garcia who precedes their daughter in death.
Laura was a caring, supportive and loving wife, mother, step- mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Laura loved cooking, music and taking care of her great-grandson Alonzo. Laura's gentle smile, beautiful eyes, strong kick and right hook brought so much joy and love to her husband for 46 years.
Laura was survived by her loving husband Christopher Martinez. Her three daughters Sabrina Montoya, Angel Valdez (Ray), Josephine Valenzuela (Victor) and step mother of Christopher Martinez (Oliva) and Sally Martinez. Laura was survived by 13 grandchildren: Ilena, Israel, Nyssa, Jeremiah, Azia, Moises, Rogelio, Angelic, Reyna, Cecilia, Ramon, Angelo and Savanna. Proceeded in death by great grandson Alonzo and is survived by two other great grandchildren.
We would like to thank all of our family and friends who have played an important role in our wife and mom's life and for all the prayers and warm wishes in our difficult time.
