Laura Swanson, my wife and the best thing that ever happened to me, passed away on February 4th 2023.
She left us peacefully, at home, surrounded by loving family members, after a prolonged struggle with cancer. Laura faced her last days as she approached every day since I met her in September 1971, with a quiet calm strength, a knowing smile and a pleasant word for everyone around her.
Losing her is losing a part of myself. When we family and friends meet again, who knows where, who knows when, let us share memories, recall laughter and the many things that remind us of our time together with Laura. In this way, she will be part of us again in those wonderful moments.
