Laurie Kathleen Hattenhauer

Laurie Kathleen Hattenhauer passed away on July 15th, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. A school bus driver specialized in supporting students with special needs, Laurie was an award-winning public servant who served the school districts of Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Aurora for over forty years. She was the second child of Albert and Helen, their only girl. She was married twice, first to Carl who tragically died young, and then to Bruce who was the father of her two children. She is survived by her sons Christopher Isaac and Jack Amadeus, as well as three brothers; William, Bruce, and Jay. She is also survived by her sisters Elvira and Valerie, her nephews John and Charles, and her nieces Rachel, Leah, Lucy, Naomi, and Casey.

Laurie had a passion for motorcycles, gardening, dogs, Van Morrison, God, and Perry Mason (not necessarily in that order).
