Once upon a time in a land far away there was a beautiful princess...
LaVerne Ann Yanosko (nee Csincsar), age 81, left this planet for a better place on September 12th, 2023. Beloved wife of 51 years to Thomas and treasured mother of Kimberly. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 20, 1942, she lived her life to the fullest. She waited while Thomas served his country proudly in the US Army stationed in Germany, then returned home to marry her in 1963. She spent the first 48 years of her life in Cleveland caring for her husband and daughter, before they all moved to Aurora, Colorado in 1990. Known for her generous spirit and giving heart, she worked hard to make certain the homestead was always taken care of first while balancing various careers. She enjoyed reading books on history and had a zest for cooking and baking, never leaving anyone at the table with an empty belly. She loved thrift shopping, and made it her mission to find an amazing bargain whenever possible, while perpetually searching for that "perfect" sweater. She enjoyed knitting, and fashioned a million pairs of slippers and afghans to keep everyone warm with her love.
LaVerne now rests in the company of her mother, Ann, her father Michael, and with her beloved husband Thomas.
She is survived by her brother James, sister-in-law Audrey (Yanosko), sister-in- law and brother- in-law Mary Ann and Richard (Gurnick), plus many nieces and nephews.
All services and internment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you donate to the charity of your choice in LaVerne's memory.
