Lawrence H. "Larry" Lobel, 81, of Lakewood, passed away February 19, 2021. He was born February 5, 1940 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the son of Andrew and Ethel (Hutchins) Lobel.
Larry received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Colorado in 1964. He started in banking at Security Pacific National Bank in Los Angeles, then moved by to Colorado in 1966. When he returned to Colorado he worked at Gates, Samsonite and then as a manufacturer representative for A. T. Lobel Company, eventually owning the business.
Larry was an avid fly fisherman and loved the outdoors, especially his trips to Alaska. For many years he coached girls' fast pitch softball.
Lawrence is survived by Wife Sally Ann Lobel, Three Daughters, Patricia Ann (Jed) Chamberlain, Katherine Elizabeth (Andrew) Lobel-Rice, Laura Jeanette (Jeffrey) Lobel-Green; Four Grandsons, Lyle Chamberlain, Seth Chamberlain, William Hutchins Green, Jackson Lobel Green; Two Granddaughters, Lauren Ann Rice, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Rice. He is preceded in death by his parents.
