Lee Edwin Edwards, 78, passed away at home in Aurora, Colorado in the early morning of May 12, 2021.

Lee was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania February 1, 1943 to Arthur Edwin Edwards and Helen Grace Hontz Edwards. He graduated from Oliver High School in 1960.

Lee worked for United Airlines in Pittsburgh until 1983, when he moved his family to Aurora, Colorado.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Elizabeth Smith Edwards; three children, William Edwin "Bill", Elizabeth Ann "Beth" and Thomas Matthew "Tom"; nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Lee loved the outdoors, fishing, boating, taking long road trips, traveling, reading and tinkering with many hobbies.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday May 12, 2021 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at:
New Hope Community Church
17699 E. Hampden Avenue
Aurora, CO 80013

**This will be a time to share your favorite memories of Lee. If you are uncomfortable talking, please write them down and they will be read during the service.**

A family graveside will take place at 2pm at Fairmount Cemetery, 420 S. Quebec Ave. Denver, CO 80247. Please enter the cemetery using the Alameda gates.
