Lemoine Howard Nation, 68, of Aurora, passed away December 29, 2020.
He was born November 16, 1952 in Delta, Colorado, the son of William and Mary (Wheeler) Nation.
He was a graduate of Hotchkiss High School. He attended BYU-Hawaii and Walden University. Over the course of his education, Howard received dual Bachelor's and dual Master's Degrees. Before his passing, Howard was working toward his Ph.D.
He was an IT Specialist and later worked with Amazon. He also volunteered his time with various organizations.
Howard loved to work on the computer in his spare time. Howard was a friend to many and liked to take care of others. Recently, he set up a massage business for a friend. Howard was an animal lover and an avid reader. He loved to cook and taught a lot of his techniques to Jere's granddaughter Taylor. He was a fly fisherman, enjoying the serenity of the time on the water. He also enjoyed photography and collected cameras.
On August 27, 1983, he married Jerelee Echols.
Howard is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jerelee Nation; Jere's 3 daughters and son, Aaron Echols; Jere's 4 granddaughters; father, William Nation; sister, Linda (Dullus) Ferrier and niece, Julie.
He is preceded in death by mother, Mary Elizabeth Nation.
