Lenora Elkins, 94, of Denver and Englewood, passed away February 18, 2019.

She was born April 29, 1924 in Abbeville, Mississippi, the daughter of Townser and Emma (Griffin) Allen. In 1954, Lenora married Leon Elkins, in Toledo, Ohio.

Lenora is survived by her children, Diana (Butch) Daniel and Leon (Sandy) Elkins Jr.; brother, Evan "Bone" (Ethel) Allen; five grandchildren, Melody (Jeff) Blackman, Teishetta Daniel, Nick Daniel, Leon H.T. Elkins, III, and Shiloh S.E. Elkins; great-grandchild, Dominick Daniel; three cousins, Ruby Hill, Morrell Baber, and Mae Kynard; and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Keith Allen, Ricky Allen, Regina Mosley, and Crystal Nicholson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Elkins, Sr.; parents, Emma and Townser Allen; sisters, Eleanor Allen and Dorothy Mae Isabel; and brother, Richard Allen.
