Leona Clara Wicks

Leona Clara Wicks, 93, of Parker, passed away January 16, 2021.

She was born January 3, 1928 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Betting) Slumski.

She was a graduate of Annunciation High School.

On June 29, 1948, she married Kenneth Wicks.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to garden and go fishing.

Leona is survived by her children Loretta (Les) Fradkin, Rosemarie Long, Kathleen Wicks, Kenneth Wicks, Leona J. Wicks, Geraldine (Alan) Britain, Robert Wicks and Daniel Wicks; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Carl Wicks; son, Steven Wicks; grandson, Ronald DeFond; father, Paul Slumski; mother, Mary Slumski; her twin sister and her brother.

Flowers are suggested. Contributions may be made in Leona's name to Parkinson's Association of the Rockies, 1325 S Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80222.
