Leonard "Michael" Martinez, 55, of Denver, CO, passed away April 23, 2018.
Michael was born June 10, 1962, in Denver, Colorado, the son of Tommy (Tom) and Magdalene (Madge) Martinez. Michael attended St. Joseph Grade School, Central Catholic High School before graduating from West High School. He worked as a barber and in the restaurant industry for many years.
Michael loved life and shared the joy of life and laughter with everyone he knew. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, dancing, music, partying, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Michael is survived by his parents Tom and Madge; Sister Gina (Veronica); Brother Steven (Renee); numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, his aunt Pat, and many dear friends.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents Belle and Sam Passarelli; Benjamin and Rebecca Martinez; Uncles Sam Passarelli, Jr., and Ron Passarelli; and his nephew Lyrick Valdez.
The family appreciates the love and support they have received during this difficult time, while Michael fought hard for his life battling several illnesses.
