Our loving father left us to be with our Lord on December 30, 2019. We wanted to keep him forever but after 82 years God decided he needed him in Heaven to watch over his family.
Leroy was born December 10, 1937, to Alejandro and Delphinia Torres in Trinidad, Colorado. He was survived by his wife of 54 years, MaryAnn Torres and his four children: Lisa Torres, Gary Torres, Eric Torres (Amanda/Lucy) and Fawn Guerra (Sammy). He left four grandchildren Noah Guerra, Gabriella Guerra, Dominic Guerra and Nicholas Guerra.
Leroy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who was loved by everyone he met. Leroy was a patriot who served his country as a Marine for four years. He was very competitive in everything that he did. He enjoyed baseball, bowling, golf, horseshoes, cards and jacks. During his enjoyment of competitive activities, he always found a way to include his family.
