Lester Eugene Egan
Les was born on January 19th, 1951 in Salida, Colorado, he passed away on April 16th, 2022. He grew up in Pueblo, Colorado. In 1973 Les started to work for the Denver & Rio Grande RR and he followed his job to Denver. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad.
He enjoyed golf, going on cruises, whale watching in Hawaii and traveling. His greatest golfing moment was teeing off on the 1st tee at The Old Course at St. Andrews, St Andrews, Scotland. Les was a founding member of The Wild Animal Refuge in southeastern Colorado.
He is survived by his wife Beth(Pokorny) of Aurora, his son Bryan Egan of Aurora, Co, granddaughter Sara of St. Petersburg, Fla., two sisters Ella Spinuzzi of Englewood, Co and Mary VandenBrink(Galen), of Aurora, CO and a brother Edmond Egan(Cheri) of Humble, Texas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother(Ruth Pasquale Egan) and father(Edmond Egan).
