Amen.
Life story Obituary
Leticia "Lety" Medina, 63, passed away on December 14th, 2023 after her battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully at home in Lochbuie, Colorado, surrounded by family and loved ones. Lety is survived by her husband Norberto Medina, son Edgar Medina. She joins her son, Eduardo Medina, in heaven, who sadly passed way in late June. Leticia was born in Monterrey to Evaristo Mendez and Rosa Mendoza on April 14th, 1960. Leticia married Norberto Medina in 1988 and they proceeded to have 2 children together, Edgar and Eduardo, born 1990 and 1992 respectively. She worked as a housekeeper for Denver Grand Hyatt for 23 years before retiring in 2021. Leticia was a very strong minded and independent woman. She was never one to shy away from hard work or get her hands dirty if it helped accomplish the goal at hand for her family. Leticia always put her family first. She loved spending time with her family at big gatherings or smaller meetings. Either way, she considered it her medicine and said it was what helped her get through some of the tough times dealing with her cancer. Leticia also had a great sense of humor and loved to, both, laugh and make others laugh. She would not shy away from making funny, exaggerated expressions, or tell a joke, and fill the room with laughter and joy. Her laugh and smile could light up the darkest of rooms. And now her laugh will forever echo in our hearts and memories. May we find comfort knowing she is no longer suffering and finally at peace. She will forever be missed, but never forgotten.
