With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Bruce, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother,aunt, sister, and friend, who left this world on March 23, 2025. Linda was a kind and compassionate soul who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Linda was born on June 18, 1948, and grew up in Denver, Colorado. She attended South High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and began cultivating the kindness and selflessness that would define her life. She dedicated many years of service to Metropolitan State University of Denver before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Dewey “Bud” DeVries, Brother Dale DeVries and Son Gregory Bruce.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, William “Gary” Bruce; her loving children, Chris Bruce, Amy (Deborah Salle) Bruce,and her daughter-in-law, Bree Bruce; her cherished grandchildren, Ethan (Melissa) Bruce, Alexandra ,Nolan,and Natalie Bruce, Brohdy and Dakohda Sallee; Great grandchildren Ruth and Lane Bruce; Dear sister Joyce DeVries and sister-in-law Sherryl DeVries; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved family members.

Linda’s love was boundless, and her kindness knew no limits. Whether it was family, friends, or a stranger in need, she was always ready to offer support and comfort. Her legacy of love and generosity will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Rest peacefully, Linda—you will always be loved, remembered, and missed.
